Supported Living services (SLS) are comprehensive person centered services for adults or Children that are delivered by A&A Reliable Home Health Care in the home of the individual requesting services. Individuals who receive Supported Living services are generally able to live more independently than individuals who require the more intensive supports of a Residential Group Home.
Each client is matched with a member of our team to provide in home support so that our clients can continue to live independently. Instead of choosing from a regimented list of services, clients work with caregivers to come up with a schedule and routine based on the client’s needs and preferences. It is our goal for the person receiving services to live as independently as is possible and safe, and to provide support in the areas where they are truly needed. Examples of typical Supported Living services might include, but not limited to:
- Eating and preparing food
- Personal grooming and cleaning
- Social and adaptive skills
- Communication
- Community participation and mobility
- Health care, leisure and recreation
- Household chores
- Interpersonal skills
- Money management
- Reduction or elimination of maladaptive behavior
- Sensory and motor development
